Welcome to Dacre Braithwaite Church of England

(Voluntary Aided) Primary school.

Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John Chapter 10 verse 10

We would like to welcome you to Dacre Braithwaite C of E Primary School, I’m sure you will agree that it is a very special place with a real “family feel” to it. we are really proud of all that the children achieve in their time with us. See here for our exit questionnaires for our Y6 leavers from 2019.

All our new children settle in quickly, find happiness in their new surroundings and soon make new friends. We very much hope that both you and your child will become involved in our school community.

Here you will find lots of  information about our School, its aims, the curriculum we provide and extra opportunities offered. We hope that you will find it helpful and informative.

The Vision of Dacre Braithwaite Church of England Primary School can be summed up in 8 words – ‘That they may have life to the full’.  This is our aspiration, inspired by the words of Jesus and the Christian faith, for all who come into contact with our school – the children, their families, our staff and our local community.

Your support for your child’s education is important to their progress.  Please tell us if there is any adjustments we need to make to help you support your child, for example: letters in large font; letters in different languages; wheelchair access; explaining things over the phone; a discussion with a school colleague of the same gender etc.

If you require further information or paper copies of any information from the site please do not hesitate to contact the school, we will be delighted to help.
